New Michael Jackson album due out Tuesday

Listen to Michael Jackson on iHeartRadio

Five years after his death, Michael Jackson is poised to return to the album charts with Tuesday's release of the new album "Xscape."  With the blessing of his estate, Epic Records boss Antonio "L.A." Reid enlisted the production prowess of some of today's most in-demand producers to work their magic on eight castoff songs the pop superstar recorded between 1983 and 1999.  "Xscape's" first single, "Love Never Felt So Good," was co-written by Jackson and Paul Anka in 1983.  It was unveiled at the recent iHeartRadio Music Awards.  A second track, titled "Blue Gangsta," was just released last week.

"Xscape" is the second posthumous Michael Jackson album to be released after 2010's "Michael," which was released a-year-and-a-half after the singer's death.  Next month marks the fifth anniversary of Jackson's sudden passing at the age of 50.
